Service Award Program

The Air Liquide Service Award Program is designed to recognize employees for their years of loyal and conscientious service. The program provides a service award, selected by the employee, upon the completion of the following years of service: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40+ years.

Years of service are defined as total time employed by Air Liquide, sometimes to include service with predecessor or merged companies, provided the acquisition terms granted prior service. Time off payroll because of resignation, discharge or layoff in excess of one (1) year, will constitute an interruption in service. However, if an adjusted service date is authorized upon rehire or recall, this date will determine service award eligibility.

Employees will receive a service award notification on the date of their service anniversary through the Above & Beyond site. Employees will have the option of selecting from pre-selected items or points for their service award. Points can be redeemed at any time for items on the Above & Beyond site. Employees will also have the option of receiving a commemorative anniversary pin recognizing their years of service.

Questions regarding the service award program should be directed to alaboveandbeyond@biworldwide.com.

Retirement Gift Program

The Air Liquide Retirement Gift Program is designed to recognize retiring employees for their years of loyal and conscientious service. The program lets you select a retirement gift from the service award program. Because you are retiring, you can select a gift from the next higher category selection (example: an employee with 17 years of service may select a gift from the “20 year” category).

Retired employees will be notified within 30 days via postcard and email following their retirement from Air Liquide at the home address and personal email on file with Air Liquide. Employees will have continued access to the Above & Beyond site as long as there is an outstanding points balance. Retired employees will have the option of selecting from pre-selected items or points for their retirement gift. If a selection is not made within 90 days following retirement, the award will automatically convert to points.
